Cryptocurrency Tracing & Recovery Intelligence

Blockchain analysis to trace stolen or fraudulently obtained cryptocurrency to the point where recovery becomes possible.

The Problem

Cryptocurrency is traceable. Most victims are simply never told how.

A common misconception treats cryptocurrency as anonymous and therefore unrecoverable once stolen or sent to a scammer. In reality, most blockchains are public ledgers, and transactions can be traced from wallet to wallet with the right analytical tools. What breaks the trail is not the technology, it is the absence of a professionally run tracing exercise before the funds reach a point where recovery is no longer practically possible, most commonly a regulated exchange that can be compelled to freeze and disclose.

What's Included

What you receive.

A blockchain tracing report following the movement of stolen or fraudulently obtained cryptocurrency from the point of loss, through any intermediate wallets or mixing services, to the point where funds reach a regulated exchange or other actionable destination.

Wallet-to-wallet transaction tracing across major blockchains

Identification of exchange deposits where funds become potentially recoverable

Detection of mixing services and layering techniques used to obscure the trail

Sanctioned address screening relevant to the destination wallets

A report structured to support a freezing request or law enforcement referral

Methodology

How it's produced.

Blockchain analysis using transaction graph tooling combined with open-source intelligence on associated wallets, exchanges and known fraud infrastructure, with every finding verified by a named analyst before it is reported, and the evidential chain documented throughout.

Timeline

What to expect, and when.

Typical turnaround: 48 to 72 hours from confirmed scope for an initial trace, with continuous monitoring available where funds are still moving.
Frequently Asked

Questions we're asked most

Is stolen cryptocurrency actually recoverable?

It depends on where the funds end up. If they reach a regulated exchange, recovery is genuinely possible through a freezing request. If they remain in unhosted wallets indefinitely, recovery is harder, and we report that distinction honestly.

How quickly do you need to be instructed after the loss?

As soon as possible. Funds that reach an exchange and are withdrawn again before action is taken are much harder to recover, so speed matters more here than in most other investigations.

Can this trace funds sent through a mixing service?

Mixing services complicate but do not always defeat tracing. Findings are reported honestly on confidence level, what was established, what remains uncertain, rather than overstating what a mixer has actually obscured.

Can this continue after the initial trace?

Yes, through our Blockchain Intelligence Monitoring subscription, which continues watching the wallets involved for further movement.
